Responsible for design, fabrication, and operation of newest pilot scale high recovery desalination system. Assists in characterization of pilot system with nano filtration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO) coupling for system optimization. Conducts data preprocessing of pilot system performance for energy consumption minimization and recovery maximization while maintaining permeate water quality. Remote monitoring of the deployed water treatment systems in the Salinas Valley. Enjoys surfing, playing basketball, watching movies, and cooking.
