Short Synopsis



Jose is a Ph.D. student who joined the lab during summer 2023. Jose completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at UCSD, where he conducted research for portable electrochemical devices for the detection and degradation of nerve agents as a member of the Wang Group. Jose’s research interests include the optimization of ZLD systems, as well as seeded precipitation of brackish water brine. His interests outside the lab include gardening, going to the gym, and martial arts.
